Video tour of Lindesnes Lighthouse
Lindesnes Lighthouse, at the southern tip of Norway, is the oldest lighthouse in the country. The first guiding fire (Norwegian: fyrflammen) was lit on Lindesnes in 1656. Since the 1800s, over 200 lighthouses been staffed in this country, but today Lindesnes one of the few that still have real keepers. Hear Lindesnes Keeeper, Rolf Dybvik talk about the heritage he manages. Video is in Norwegian, but wonderful even if you only watch it.
